Beautiful sosaku-hanga (創作版画) woodcut of large vertical format depicting the Yasaka Pagoda (八坂の塔), one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Higashiyama district (東山区) in Kyoto, the last remaining structure of a 6th-century temple complex known as Hokanji (法観寺). In the work, made by the artist Takenaka Fu (武中楓) and entitled "From the Bunnosuke Teahouse" (文の助茶屋から), the pagoda is seen precisely from the perspective of the entrance of the old and famous Bunnosuke tea house. The fine print on Japanese washi paper (和紙), marked as number 110 of a limited edition of 200 copies, is in very good condition.
