Charming original woodblock print of vertical large oban (大判) format titled "Koine of the Inamoto House, on the Second Block of Edomachi in the Shin Yoshiwara District" (新吉原 江戸町二丁目 稲本屋内 小稲).

The work, unsigned and attributed to the artist Utagawa Kunisada (歌川国貞), dates back to the 50s of the nineteenth century and depicts the courtesan in the night of the famous pleasure district.

The fine print on Japanese washi paper (和紙) shows clear signs of aging, in particular folds and wrinkles, as well as restorations.
