Refined original woodblock print of the kuchi-e (口絵) type, made as the frontispiece of a novel, in October 1906, by the artist Takeuchi Keishu (武内桂舟) and entitled "Persimmon Seller" (柿売).

The work is taken from vol. 12 n. 13 of Bungei Kurabu (文芸倶楽部), the popular literary magazine published from 1895 to 1933 by the Hakubunkan (博文館) publishing house.

The print on Japanese washi paper (和紙), despite the presence of a slight thinning on the upper margin, as well as fold marks and wrinkles, is in overall fair condition.
