Beautiful large vertical format polychrome woodblock print made by the artist Utagawa Hiroshige II (二代目歌川広重) and depicting the Ochiai Bridge (落合はし) on the Kiso River (木曽川), in the ancient Japanese Mino Province (美濃国), corresponding to the southern part of the modern Gifu Prefecture (岐阜県).

The work was printed in 1861 and is taken from the series Shokoku meisho hyakkei (諸国名所百景), ie "One Hundred Views of Famous Places in the Provinces", produced by the publisher Uoya Eikichi (魚屋栄吉).

The print, despite the evident aging of the Japanese washi paper (和紙) and an overall chromatic alteration tending to blue, is in good general condition.
